Had a very good stay but hotel needs a refresh.

I would rate the hotel 3.5 to 4.
Property is huge and very nice. Rooms laid out in villas with 3-4 rooms per small building. Pool is very big, really great and food was very good, with plenty to choose from. Staff was wonderful. Being next toI would rate the hotel 3.5 to 4.

Being next to airport I thought it would be noisy but it was not. They have a small gym/fitness room, which is in one of the regular rooms.
While clean and large, my room was pretty old and beat up. Bed was comfortable, but lights were dim, bathtub/shower had stains and chips, bathroom mirror had a lot of scratches and chips. No hot water in bathroom sink and no water came out when you turn the hot knob. The faucet was also loose.
Came back to room 1 night, lights outside and at front door were on and no power or air con in room, it appeared all other rooms had power because I could see lights on in rooms. I just went to sleep thinking maybe power would be back by morning. Then in the morning I found there was water dripping from the ceiling of the bathroom. The ceiling was all discolored so this has been an ongoing issue.
Reported it and front desk immediately offered to move me but I only had 2 days left and did not want to pack, move and repack, nor did I have the time as I had to go to work.
Came back to lights and air con but some lights did not work. No drip from the ceiling but you can see there was a leak so not sure what they did to fix the leak. If you only use the room to sleep like I did then this is a great place to stay. If you want a luxurious suite this may not be for you, though I was told they have 2 bedroom suites and other more upscale rooms.

Great hotel for a relaxing break.

Had a lovely relaxing 5 nights here. Great location close to the airport but you wouldn't have known it was next door. Food and drink service was very good and the rooms very comfortable. The gardens are kept beautiful as is the pool area with a lovely sea breeze. IdealHad a lovely relaxing 5 nights here. The gardens are kept beautiful as is the pool area with a lovely sea breeze. Ideal location to pop into Kuta but equally great to catch up on a book by the pool. The staff were wonderful and always had a smile for us. We will return.....thank you.

The best of of our stay in Bali

We had a wonderful stay at the Patra hotel. The cottage was huge beautifully decorated with traditional balinese style and the location was just great with easy access to the beach. The breakfast each morning was superrr..full variety of western, indonesian, chinese, indian...we had problem with our bathtub, which alwaysWe had a wonderful stay at the Patra hotel. The breakfast each morning was superrr..full variety of western, indonesian, chinese, indian...we had problem with our bathtub, which always leaking resulting flooding in our bathroom but it's not realy a big deal for us since the housekeeping was super efficient, they always came to our room less than 5 mins after we called them ..All the staff are friendly, helpful and they really make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit..we will certainly stay here again next time we are in Bali.

We thought of the Patra as soon as were told our flight had been cancelled thinking it would be overnight as it is situated very close to the airport. It turned out to be 5 enjoyable and relaxing days and nights. We had a ground floor double bedroom villa placedWe thought of the Patra as soon as were told our flight had been cancelled thinking it would be overnight as it is situated very close to the airport. It turned out to be 5 enjoyable and relaxing days and nights. We had a ground floor double bedroom villa placed in well maintained gardens. It was spacious, the bed was huge and provided a good nights sleep. The bathroom facilities included a walk in shower large enough for a family ! We attended a couple of events at the hotel i.e. Bali night hosted by Natalie and her team with a great combo called The Bali Dreamers who played some great music. Our only gripe is the breakfast which caters mainly for Indonesian guests and lacks a bit of western cuisine variety, but we did like the endless cups of Capuchino. The team and staff at the Resort were always very helpful and typically friendly as well...The Patra has always served as our last port of call before leaving Bali because of it's location is ideally placed for a 40min walk into Kuta along the recently upgraded foreshore.

Patra bali is a luxurious resort on private beach very next to Bali airport. I always start n end my Bali visit with it. Rooms are modern spacious n luxurious. Food is delicious. But what really made our visit was meeting luckily Mr I.K. Wahyu who is actually heading housekeepingPatra bali is a luxurious resort on private beach very next to Bali airport. I always start n end my Bali visit with it. Rooms are modern spacious n luxurious. Food is delicious. But what really made our visit was meeting luckily Mr I.K. Wahyu who is actually heading housekeeping but was also managing frontdesk on that day. He warmly greeted us , showed n guided with all the amenities in resort. We got quick check in. He booked poolside dinner n spa for us.
At evening we were again able to again interact with him when he told his inspirational journey of 20 yrs in The Patra Bali. How he started doing basic jobs in hotel & now he is at managerial position. Our respect not only grew for him but also for higher management of Patra Bali.
Evening dinner was accompnied with Balinese performances by beautiful beach. We had gala time here. With promise to visit soon to Mr Wahyu we left resort mesmerized.
