Great place to stay as within easy walking distance to lots of smaller museums as well as the museum district. Staff knowledgeable on where to for dinner meals. Room excellent and very quiet. Breakfast is delicious.
The room is clean, the bathroom is spacious enough. Very comfortable bed and pillows (for me personally). We will come back and recommend to others.

Clean & affordable, which is pretty much all you need in Paris as who’s spending time in their hotel room with the whole city on offer? Slightly roomier than many Paris hotel rooms, but still pretty small. The pros: The shower was nice. Room space is decent. The area is amazing, theres a microwave downstairs.

But if im completely honest its just ok, the room space is big for paris standards, my room looked into the court which was nice the shower being inside the room is different, who ever you stay with you have to be super comfortable with them as you will defo see them naked lol the toilet being seperate was odd. Would have prefered it together, but i guess its part of the aesthetic.
I have to say the reception staff were nice a bit abrupt at times but they dont match the aesthetic of the hotel. They were all nice dont get me wrong but it seemed like security and reception was combined. No kettle or coffee machine in the room, the free water was only refilled once.
One of the cleaners was trying to chat me up.. which was uncomfortable. The air con was hard to work out, the vent dropped in my toilet and it left a bit of a mess. No one helped until i mentioned it a second or third time i guess the staff who could help wasnt available at night and staffing seemed limited in the day. Personally if you have more money stay at a better hotel in the area but if your on a budgets its not bad. It wasnt horrible but it wasnt amazing either it was just ok. Oh and i didnt really like reception questioning who one of my partners was to me just because he was a big black man that made me feel uncomfortable because im obviously staying there and he was MY guest not a random, i shouldnt have to explain who someone is if im clearly with them. Would i stay there again.. maybe but not first choice.

Walking distance to historic district in Milan

Hotel is within walking distance of historic parts and the Duomo of Milan, and an easy subway ride to see Michelangelo's Last Supper. Lots of options for food around the hotel, ranging from street food to Michelin star venues.
Staff was courteous and helpful with recommendations.

We stayed here 8 nights in September and used it as our day trips out of Milan and touring in Milan. Staff straightened and cleaned room every day. Room not large but comfortable for 2. Bedding was very cozy.

This is an excellent hotel with a good location. Metro just few blocks away, just 3 stops from Duomo. To railway station just a 12 minute walk. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We got the room at noon when we arrived which was a nice surprise.

Stayed here for 5 nights and was not disappointed. Friendly staff in all parts of the hotel. Very clean and comfy beds. Amazing little hotel, very welcoming and right by a bus stop so is easy to get into the hotel.

Marco at the front of the desk really enhanced our holiday as he gave us recommendations and was always good to chat and always happy to see and talk to us on our return to the hotel!

We spent the final week of 2023 at this wonderful hotel that resembles a luxury villa as much as a hotel. If you desire a quiet, peaceful hotel away from the maddening crowds, located in a fabulous and safe neighborhood, Hotel Principe Torlonia is an excellent choice and a terrific value. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is superb and the service is impeccable. Your transportation options to get to any part of room are plentiful with the Metro Stop Bologna only three blocks away and taxi to the Termini Train Station for less than $15. There is also an exceptional grocery store open 24/7 about 2 blocks away where you can get fruits, bread, cheeses, salamis, Mortadella and so much more. We hope to return to Rome soon to enjoy this great property again.

Experience at this hotel was mixed.
We went on an 11 day trip to Rome with another couple staying at the same hotel as us.
Unfortunately when we were shown to our rooms we were disappointed.

Unfortunately when we were shown to our rooms we were disappointed.
Our room was rather small had twin beds not a king and there was little space for our belongings.
We had to keep most of our clothes in suitcases as there were only six coat hangers provided in a very tiny wardrobe. Hanging space for dresses was inadequate and my wife's dresses hung out of the wardrobe and the door could not be shut.
The hotel did replace the twin beds with a king size mattress and supplied another six coat hangers which made life a little bit easier for us.
The bedside tables are probably the smallest ones I've seen in my life and you could just about fit a couple of pairs of socks in these.
They were very few PowerPoints and the kettle was sat on a small dressing table but there was no mirror over it so rendered the Power Points below useless for my wife to use her hair dryer. You haven't realised the kettle wasn't plugged in and it was only by pulling all the furniture out that we were able to reconfigure things to use the kettle several days into our stay.
Our friends stayed in basement room which was more spacious but the there was a significant lack of light and when they arrived it smelt really really musty in fact they complained and the holiday tour operator some send photos of the room but then rejected them because they look too dark not a surprise given that it was a basement room and they got the lights on and the place really smelt of mold we were lucky with our room because at least it had a small balcony which overlooked the neighboring Afghan embassy.
The bathroom was of an accent size which is fortuitous because one of our cases was stored underneath the sink unit for the whole of the duration of the holiday.
The cleaners did an absolutely fantastic job and the rooms were spotless.
We did however have a problem with the shower tray which wasn't draining properly however this was sorted out the same day we brought this up with reception.
a special thanks to all the female staff who were fantastically helpful and welcoming and there was also a young barman who was there most evenings and he was really helpful supplying us with ice buckets corkscrews plates knives and forks so we could eat in in the garden which was a very pleasant experience. It's a real shame that the garden being so lovely was not made more use of for example the hotel could put a small cocktail bar in the garden for evenings and an evening restaurants service I'm sure will be very easy to set up in this particular hotel.
Breakfast was entertaining. It was over seen by a restaurant manager who behave more like a referee telling us what we could and couldn't do. On a first day when we turned up to breakfast at 9:30 we sat on a table reserve four and he tried to kick his off but we were eventually allowed to stay because we said our friends were coming to join us and as soon as they turned up he told them they'd only got 15 minutes left to eat to get their breakfast and eat it. The attitude of this particular manager did sour the breakfast experience but usually the young Italian waitress rescued things for us and made life more bearable. Like having a referee around scrutinizing your every move when you told off for not using the tongues properly to serve yourself with eggs and sausage. If you ask the manager for anything he would tell you just a minute and usually about five or 10 minutes later he would be back to assist and the lengthy delays were not acceptable. Harmon occasion I was waiting for some cutlery and gave up and took some from another table this I wanted to eat it outside and he just glad at me and left the waitress to to deal with our table. Other guests were equally unimpressed by the attitude of this individual. The most concerning thing was that all Brett although breakfast was served till 10 a.m. the manager virtually marched you out as soon as it turned to 10 am so those guests who have the audacity to turn up at 10 to 10 and very little time to serve themselves and eat their breakfast it did make for a very awkward experience.
The receptionists in the main were courteous and kind of one of them didn't appear to know the answer to any of our queries and it transpired he'd only been working for the hotel for about four or five months and he was unable to help with any queries and really blocks any requests that we were our friends had particularly when we wanted to change rooms when we first arrived.
In summary this hotel could be so much better those are a mixture of abilities within the within the staff and the premises we thought could be utilized far more effectively particularly with the the garden which was hardly ever used and was quite a spacious and we hope the hotel listens to this feedback and puts in appropriate training to improve things.

Stayed here for 3 nights and really impressed. Really comfortable (and big) bed, lovely large room, great shower and bathroom, and very effective AC. Clean, comfortable nice sized room. The bed and pillows were excellent.
Very good breakfast. It felt like a quiet and safe neighborhood.
Good dinner and market options within walking distance of the hotel.

Great hotel with excellent staff & breakfast, not great wifi or room cards and a bit far from the center

Overall a really lovely hotel. The breakfast is great with a large selection, the staff are attentive and kind, everything is clean, and we love the efforts for sustainability. Two drawbacks during our stay: the wifi and the room cards. We had numerous troubles using their (very stylish) wooden roomOverall a really lovely hotel. Two drawbacks during our stay: the wifi and the room cards. We had numerous troubles using their (very stylish) wooden room cards to where we had to visit the reception 3 times to have them reactivate the key. If any Neya corporate employees are reading this, it was a good decision for brand coherence, but practically, it's not worth it. Additionally, the wifi was unreliable which would have been really inconvenient if we had to work during this trip. For fellow tourists, this quarter of Lisbon is really lovely and local, however, it is a bit far from the points of interest of the city.

Clean with super friendly staff

The hotel is clean, very neat and tidy, staff very helpful and kind. You can smell elegant fragrance in the hotel. The problem is a bit old-fashion interior ( dark, gloomy and heavy) and standard rooms overlooking ugly inner/backyard. Another big problem is poor vegan options for breakfast which isThe hotel is clean, very neat and tidy, staff very helpful and kind. You can smell elegant fragrance in the hotel. Another big problem is poor vegan options for breakfast which is contradictiong to what they advertise propmoting the hotel as sustainable, eco-friendly etc, but vegan food is scrce there. It is the only thing to improve.

Decent value in Lisbon

Location is good but not quite what i needed. Superior Suite room was good and bright corner room. Hotel overall is decent in comparison to other overpriced hotels in the city. Mattress comfortable and bed linen above expectations for softness ! Standard Pillows horribly inadequate (hard and puffy) but amLocation is good but not quite what i needed. Superior Suite room was good and bright corner room. Hotel overall is decent in comparison to other overpriced hotels in the city. Mattress comfortable and bed linen above expectations for softness ! Standard Pillows horribly inadequate (hard and puffy) but am glad housekeeping did their best to provide 2 softer pillows as requested. Shower panel on bathtub is poor design leading to water spillage.
Garage in hotel tower is tricky (very narrow). Staff were generally courteous.
