The hotel was a very nice hotel. The room was compact but was clean warm and the beds v comfortable. Its located close to the Central station and not a long way from Tivoli gardens or the main shops.

perfect hotel for short stay

Well renovated little hotel, with an excellent location, behind the train station, 7 minutes walk from Tivoli, yet quiet and cosy. Rooms are small, but very clean and the bathroom is an OK size. This hotel is a clean and great value hotel. We found the rooms big enough for us but did find that the bed was pushed against the wall, so I did have to climb over my partner in the night if I wanted to get up. There’s good storage available, a safe in the room, a fan, fridge and we had a sofa.
Breakfast was really good - I don’t know how others didn’t like it but we found it very good. Good selection of breads and pastries, cereals, fruit, cheese and cold cuts, and some hot food. Also had good coffee, tea, juice and water. I really appreciated that Nondairy and lactose free milks were available too.
Excellent location for central Copenhagen station - it’s less than 5 mins walk. Great for airport, trains to Malmö and metro. Also very close to Tivoli gardens. Neighbourhood was nice enough and we never felt unsafe.
Worth noting that the lift stops on the landings between a floors, presumably due to the older nature of the building.
We found it a bit quirky and we’re fit enough to get up/down without using the lift much. Worth contacting the hotel before booking if level access is required.
Overall, excellent value, comfortable stay and great location.

Really solid, economy style hotel in the heart of Copenhagen! For the price it really can't be beat - clean rooms, decent beds and bedding, and good although small bathroom and shower.

The negatives were manageable: no a/c, which means windows need to be open, which is annoying with construction going on in the lobby, but the fan in the room definitely helped. And although there is an elevator, there are still stairs to get to/from your room.
Also worth mentioning how friendly everyone working here was, we appreciated the map of the city with locations drawn on it to help us get the lay of the land.
We would definitely stay again!

Positive: Nice hotelroom and great size for the two of us. Big bathroom, and clean. Very nice staff. We arrived early and the room wasn’t ready, so we we’re immediately switched to another room. Negative: Bad air quality in the room. Had to open both window and the hotel room- door to get good circulation. Luckily there was a fan that we used at night. Breakfast was not worth paying for. We went out for breakfast even though we had already paid for it. Not much to select from. Eggs were boiles so long that the yolk was green. Cold drinks were not cold, coffee was not good and the dining hall appeared worn down to the point that it looked dirty.
All in all: Would stay again, but not pay for breakfast.

Fabulous room for a good price: included excellent breakfast as well.
Didn’t have aircon but no issue for us
The hotel is 100m from Odenplan station so ideal for getting around: 10mins to Gamla Stad - would choose to come back

Located in Vasastan, a nice classic neighbourhood at Odenplan where we have stayed several times when visiting Stockholm. A charming 3* hotel were no room look alike :-) Some can be a bit small but they all have comfy beds. It is a three minutes walk from buses, metro and suburban trains. Or a 20-30 minutes walk to downtown Stockholm.
If you are arriving from Arlanda airport you can take the bus to St. Eriksplan (leaves from terminal 4) and walk for 5-10 minutes or you can take the suburban train to Odenplan from Arlanda Skycity, but be aware if you go by train there is a hefty station fee at the airport…

Overall a good stay, just a few minutes walk from Odenplan station, which is a well served station connecting both the airport and the city & plenty of bus alternatives as well. The hotel entrance is small but well maintained and a friendly receptionist on the desk. There is only one lift in the building so during busier times, it could take a little while to get up/down but there are stairs that spiral around as well. As it appears to be a very old building, there were refurbs going on at the time of visit.
I had a single room which was small but the space was well used with the shower and toilet in different parts of the room.
Good amount of charging places in the room & the TV was a good size and had YouTube, Netflix etc etc so you were always sorted for entertainment.
The bed was comfy and did the job for a good night sleep, didn't have any noise disturbance from the outside in the room.

We booked just for a weekend break, great welcome from smiling reception staff, English was excellent. Our room was spotless also courtesy bottle of water there for us. Beds lovely but only 1 pillow, asked for another but never came just folded the one I had still had great sleep and was so peaceful no disturbance from other guests.
Breakfast was buffet style and well supplied, all fresh. Breakfast room was clean, plenty staff keeping tables tidy.
My only gripe with the hotel is that it's advertised having a bar and restaurant BUT both were closed at night so after being on the go all day travelling we had to leave the hotel to find somewhere to have a drink.
Would certainly return though

We had a room with a small terrace / patio which we used every evening. The hotel staff do a very good job in making sure that everything is as good as it can be. The reception team is very helpful and there is always someone around. The breakfast spread is the best we’ve seen anywhere and we must make a special mention of the scrambled eggs which were excellent! The location was great for us with bus stops almost outside so we could head straight in to town or to the transport hub at the zoo. This is the second Pestana hotel we have stayed in and would happily select another if the opportunity arises. Thanks to everyone for an excellent 5 days in Berlin.

This hotel is very well placed for a short holiday in Berlin. We booked for 3 nights using the hop on hop off bus on both days. It is placed close to Tiergarten and a large biergarten was about 20 minutes walk away. We arrived at about 11.30 am andThis hotel is very well placed for a short holiday in Berlin. We arrived at about 11.30 am and were surprised and pleased when we received a call about 30 minutes to say our room was ready. The room was spotless with lovely separate duvets on a large double bed. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel although close to main sights was in a quiet area. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants to explore this fascinating city.

A really nice hotel about 1 1/2 mile walk from city centre. 200 bus stops right outside for those not wanting to walk. Less than a mile from Zoological Garden Train Station. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the zoo and because it has a swimming pool. Really happy with our choice. Nice bright, modern rooms. Very comfortable. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the swimming pool/sauna was a great way to relax after a day’s sightseeing. Great location near Alster and ability to walk into central areas, although the roadworks made getting the bus to Hauptbahnhof a challenge on this visit, normally a 5min walk to stop and 5min ride. We had a three night stay here and found this to be well located. We arrived by train and its an easy bus ride from the train station and if you have no luggage, its not too hard a walk. The street from the train station to the hotel has lots of fun and quirky shops, boutiques and restaurants so its a good place for breakfast or dinner.
Our twin room was fine, as you'd expect from a hotel of this type, with just one fail. On the first night, we noticed there was no soap in the soap dispenser in the shower, it was empty. So we put the soap dispenser from the sink in the shower and used that, given they were the same. We figured this would be a clue to the housekeeping staff to refill the shower dispenser. Nope. They replaced it by the sink and did not refill the shower one. We did the same thing the second day, making it more obvious by placing it on top of the empty one in the shower. Nope, same thing. Not a big deal, just something to note. Drops the review from 5 to 4 star
Otherwise, we were happy with our stay.

A faultless hotel full of good, attentive people. Room was very good! Bed and pillows amazing. Snacks, water and good coffee machine at hand in the room. Short walk/bus ride from central station. Perfect for a city break

This hotel suited our needs perfectly. The location is great. We accessed it from Hamburg airport using S and U-bahn to Uhlandstrasse, after which it's a shortish walk. Strictly speaking, I think it's in the Hohenfelde district but it's right on the boundary of the St GeorgThis hotel suited our needs perfectly. The location is great. We accessed it from Hamburg airport using S and U-bahn to Uhlandstrasse, after which it's a shortish walk. Strictly speaking, I think it's in the Hohenfelde district but it's right on the boundary of the St Georg district, a lively, cosmopolitan suburb with a sizeable gay community and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Mitte and the harbour areas are reasonably accessible on foot (if you enjoy walking) or by public transport. Yet, the hotel itself is on a quiet residential street and therefore pretty peaceful. It's also a few minutes' walk from the outer Alster, which makes for nice evening strolls.
Our room was adequately sized, well equipped, and everything was clean and in good order (in the room and throughout the hotel). There was a safe and a fridge, and complimentary water was restocked daily. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.
The comprehensive breakfast buffet was very good and all the staff members we encountered were very pleasant. We'd make a special shout-out for Julia Obeng, whose sunny morning greetings, we greatly appreciated.
A pretty perfect place for a short city break.
